PURPOSE
The purpose of the Greendale Public Library Foundation is to enhance the long-range goals and objectives of the Greendale Public Library by developing and administering an active gifts and memorial program for the Library.
By encouraging tributes, grants, and endowments to the Foundation, we can enhance the quality and scope of the Greendale Public Library's services and facilities beyond the level which is the normal responsibility of the taxpayer.
The Foundation is the governing body for the Friends of the Greendale Public Library. Click here to visit the Friends of the Greendale Public Library webpage.
You may support the many activites and projects of the Foundation by making a contribution in the following categories:
- TRIBUTE: to honor a special person or occassion
- GRANT: to fund a particular activity or project
- ENDOWMENT ($500 minimum): to permanently honor a special person
- MEMORIAL: to remember a loved one or friend
To help the Foundation raise funds for library projects, patrons are asked to:
- Designate their Pick 'N Save We Care dollars for the Foundation. You may designate up to three non-profit organizations on your card, so make sure that you add number 296800 to your card and a portion of the proceeds from your groceries will go to the Foundation.
